Stoudts Amber 25 & 5025 Wine Barrel-Aged Quad 25th Anniversary Beers Coming May 11th

Looks like our pal Brett Kintzer from Stoudts has two special surprise beers coming for their upcoming 25th Anniversary Celebration.  This from Stoudts Brewing.

Adamstown, PA (March 2012) - The Stoudt’s story started back with the Black Angus Restaurant in 1962. This year the Black Angus turns 50, the Antique Mall turns 40, & Stoudt’s Brewing Company will be 25 years old! Stoudts will be hosting an epic Anniversary event to celebrate these milestones on Friday, May 11th, 2012 at Stoudts Beer Garden. Get down and let loose with music from The Ryan Wickersham band. This will be a non-profit event which will raise money for the local Adamstown Library. Please come and support this wonderful charity event!

This event will also showcase some amazing new beers from Stoudts in honor of this celebration. The brewery will be releasing two special anniversary beers, including the Amber 25. This light bodied, refreshing brew uses a small amount of caramel malt to give it a nice amber color with a hint of sweetness. Lower hopping rates and a smooth dry finish make this the perfect session beer to help you celebrate 25 years of Stoudt’s beers. The next beer is the 5025 which is a full bodied and tart brew started with our Quad recipe aged in red wine barrels for 17 months. Over the course of that time frame, the beer picked up slight hints of oak, a subtle sweetness, and red wine characteristics. Truly a one of a kind beer, and a first for Stoudts. These beers are a celebration of the restaurant and the brewery. We will also be featuring some fantastic cheeses and bread from Wonderful Good Market, our newest addition to the Stoudt family.

The Anniversary Party is on Friday May 11th, 2012 from 6pm-10pm at Stoudt’s Beer Garden. Tickets are $35 which includes food, beer, and music. You must be 21+ to attend. We will also have limited special hotel packages. Tickets are available through ticket alternative.
