In a move that would make New Belgium proud, a bicycle ship in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn has obtained a license to sell beer. While this is a common combination in other countries, the thought of mixing transportation & alcohol is not a popular one in the US. Red Lantern Bicycle Shops received their liquor license at the end of Feb and they are serving beer and selling bicycles. More detail here form the NYTimes.
