For over 30-years Anheuser-Busch &
Budjovicky Mestansky Pivovar have
battled in court over the
rights to the name “Budweiser”…and today the battle comes to an end. Anheuser-Busch / InBev announced Thursday that they purchased Czech brewery Budjovicky Mestansky Pivovar’s Budweiser trademarks. No details on the price, but it is a purchase od trademarks rights only, not equipment or property. This is certainly a step toward InBev’s goal to make Budweiser a global brand.
