Farmers Cabinet – What’s Brewing

I’ve been following along with our pal Terry Hawbaker @ The Farmers Cabinet as he’s been brewing and posting to facebook all week….so I thought you’d want an update (Thanks Terry). 

Now Brewing

    Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Belgian Porter -brewed w/ 50# each of freshly roasted pumpkins and sweet potatoes in a dark, rich porter. Fermented with our Belgian yeast and seasoned lightly w/ pumpkin pie spices.

    FieldHop Grisette -brewed in the sessionable grisette style and “wet hopped” with a blend of Citra, Centennial, Simcoe and Chinook hops. Not nearly as overtly hoppy as our FreshHop Saison but packed with flavor, a firm smack of bitterness and a long, dry finish.
    B
    erliner Weisse -truely the “liquid sunshine” of beer; sharp, sour and sessionable w/ a touch o the funk.

BARREL AGED – White Wine, French Oak: Saison w/ lacto & Brett
BARREL AGED – Buffalo Trace Bourbon: Stout w/ chocolate, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon sticks
BARREL AGED – Buffalo Trace Bourbon: D’Rye Field Stout
BARREL AGED – Red Wine, French Oak: French Country Ale w/ lacto & Brett
BARREL AGED – Red Wine, French Oak: Rauch -N- Roggen
