Stone 11.11.11 Vertical Epic Ale

Every year I look forward to the release of Stone Brewing’s vertical Epic Series of beers.  Each one unique and each one designed to be aged until the end of the series next year (12.12.12).  This year’s brew  will be an “Ale brewed with Chilies & Cinnamon” and it will be packaged in the traditional 22oz bottles.  This big 8.9% ABV brew is the 10th in the series (starting with 02.02.02) and is designed to be aged until next Dec 12th.  The brew uses Belgian Flanders Golden Ale yeast to also impart a strong banana & clove flavor to the already interesting mix of flavors so it should be real interesting.
