Today we have the trifecta from Goose Island Brewing…first up is King Henry, an 11.5% ABV Bourbon-barrel-aged Barleywine style ale. This limited edition brew will be bottled in 22oz packaging for a December release. Next we have the much anticipated Big John keg packaging. This famous brew is an Imperial Stout with cacao nibs and it comes in at a BIG 11.5% ABV. Finally, Goose Island is planning ahead and getting their label approval for their 2011 Christmas Ale now…an American Brown ale to be released for the first time in 2 years in Oct. This is a 6.2% brew and it will be available in 12ox bottles and it is bottle conditioned with a best by date 5-years in advance.
