Surly - Five Beer (Pentagram)

imageI know it’s not much to look at just yet but this appears to be the first appearance of the keg packaging for Surly Five Beer (aka Pentagram).  Five is their 5th anniversary beer, and I’m hearing it is a dark ale that uses 100% Brett yeast and has been aging in Pinot Noir barrels since Oct or Nov.  All barrels of Pentagram will be blended to form Five (6.66% ABV) and is being released all month long.

  1. I believe it's the other way around. All barrels of Pentegram, will be blended together to make Five.
