Friday BeerBuzz-The Teaser 21 Jan 2011

WILKFridayBeerbuzz2Last week we welcomed a brewmaster with local roots on to the show.  Phil Leinhart, Brewmaster of Brewery Ommegang and former Assistant Brewmaster @ Lion Brewery came on the show to help us sample Ommegang Hennepin.  It was only fitting to have Phil help us sample our very first Saison-style farmhouse ale on the Friday BeerBuzz, and Hennepin was a perfect choice.  Be sure to try this beer for yourself.  It’s a great tasting, easy-drinking golden-colored ale that I know you’ll enjoy.

So what will we be sampling THIS week?  Hint:  This week we’ll welcome another special guests with a name that’s just perfect for brewing.

Tune in at 8:30AM and see what beer we sample on the Friday Beerbuzz on WILK…bringing good beers and good people together.  (103.1FM or wilknewsradio.com).

  1. I think Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle on the old Andy Griffith Show said it best.

    "Hooty-hoo! Hooty-hoo!"

That's not a hint about the guest or the beer and while Gomer used it as a "secret" signal more than an exclamation of anticipation or joyful expectation, too bad. That's the way I'm using it!

    Friday!
