We’ve been posting about this great Bruery / Cigar City co-brew due to be released this spring….so it was exciting to finally see the actual labels. This is the first every collaboration brew that Patrick has done @ The Bruery, so it should be pretty interesting. Here’s your first peek at the label that was approved this week. Marron translates to “brown” and acidifie means we’ll be looking at a dark sour ale aged in oak. They are calling it an “Imperial Oud Bruin with layers of cranberries, tropical fruits, leather and aged balsamic.” This is the 25.4oz package (kegs approved as well) and they are claiming an 8.5% ABV….suitable for aging up to 5 years.
