On last week’s show we welcomed Congressman-elect Lou Barletta on the Friday BeerBuzz. Knowing that I wanted to stretch Lou’s beer-tasting palate, but still bring him a familiar beer style, I chose Schneider Weisse Aventinus Weizenbock. This is a classic German dopplebock, but as I mentioned last week, Schneider uses top-fermenting ale-yeast, so the flavor of the beer is wonderful. Paired with the Senape’s pizza (Thank you Lou), we had a great beer tasting adventure. Try this beer!
