River North Brewery to Release Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman 8/11

River North Brewery to Release Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman 8/11From River North:

This Saturday, August 11th, River North Brewery will release Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman. The bottle release party kicks off at Noon at the brewery’s taproom at 6021 Washington Street, just north of downtown Denver.

An award-winning American imperial stout aged in Caribbean dark rum casks, Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman bucks the trend of flavored and adjunct stouts, instead offering layer upon delicious layer of beer, oak and spirit. Jet-black, off-dry and bracingly robust, it’s a dark beer lover’s dream, finishing with a tropical wave of molasses and barrel.

River North will have Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman both on tap and in bottles to go at the release party - $12 per bottle with a one-case limit per person. In addition, the brewery will tap several other variations of Mr. Sandman to celebrate. Expect kegs of 2017 Mr. Sandman, 2017 Whiskey Barrel Mr. Sandman, Chai Mr. Sandman, and a special sneak preview of Mr. Sandman XO – aged 21 months in Utah rye whiskey barrels and slated for release during GABF.

While a limited amount of Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman will be distributed to bottle shops throughout Colorado, these bottles will be hard to find in the wild. As a beer that will cellar gracefully for years to come, the best place to stock up is at the brewery!

As independent Denver brewers established in 2012, River North Brewery crafts #AdventureFuel only available in Colorado, with a full lineup of crushable cans and cellar-worthy bottles. Like the brewery at facebook.com/rivernorthbrewery or follow and tag @rivernorthbrew on Twitter and Instagram.
