WHY: Blue Point Brewing Company got its start in 1988 as Long Island’s first distributing craft brewery and has since grown to one of the largest breweries in New York, all from right here in Patchogue. Set to open summer of 2018, the new brewery offers 54,000 square feet for Blue Point’s talented team of brewers to bring beer lovers more longtime favorites like Toasted Lager and new innovations like Beach Plum Gose. The facilities will feature a second floor restaurant and tasting room ‒ providing intimate views of the brewing operations ‒ plus green space and an outdoor beer garden for visitors to kick back with a cold one.  The new brewery offers beer lovers from near and far an enhanced Long Island destination, and creates new jobs in Blue Point’s cherished hometown.
