Each December Dogfish Head announces the beer release calendar for the upcoming year. It

ignites excitement throughout the craft beer community as beer fans begin marking the dates

for particular bottle releases. This year Dogfish is bringing back a few old favorites while

introducing six never-before-released beers.

Kicking off the new releases are two new fruit-forward IPAs: Romantic Chemistry and Flesh

& Blood. Romantic Chemistry is the new spring seasonal made with mangos and apricots,

while Flesh & Blood will feature the flesh of various citrus fruits and blood orange juice.

Next are two spiced ales: Beer To Drink Music To and Bière de Provence. Beer To Drink

Music To is a Belgian-style Tripel that serves as a liquid tribute to Record Store Day, while

Bière de Provence is a saison with a healthy dose of lavender, sage, thyme, and other herbs.

Rounding out the 2016 new releases are a pair of quintessentially off-centered brews:

Seaquenchale and Beer for Breakfast. Seaquenchale is a refreshing, experimental beer that

combines the three German styles of Kolsch, Berliner Wiesse, and Gose. Beer for Breakfast

will debut as Dogfish’s new winter seasonal, brewed with all sorts of delicious breakfast-
minded ingredients, including Delaware scrapple.

With a boatload of exciting new releases, Dogfish is also bringing back a few fan favorites.

Squall IPA makes a return after being on hiatus since 2010 as well as Red & White, a beer-
wine hybrid. 120 Minute IPA, the holy grail for hopheads is back, and the much-anticipated

Punkin Ale appears this fall. Pennsylvania Tuxedo and World Wide Stout are both back by

popular demand.

With these new additions and returning favorites also comes some goodbyes as Dogfish

removes Sixty-One and Tweason’ale from its Year Round lineup
.
