Stone - Xocoveza Extra Anejo Coming To Quingenti Millilitre 2015 Series

Here’s your very first peek at a new beer coming to the Stone Quingenti Millilitre 2015 Series.  This is Batch No 2 in the 2015 Series and it is called Xocoveza Extra Anejo.  First brewed in 2014 as the winning entry in the Stone Homebrew Competition, this Chris Banker / Insurgente / Stone co-brew begins life as a milk stout brewed with coffee and spices to mimic Mexican hot chocolate.  This version is aged in Extra Anejo Tequila barrels that previously held Bordeaux wine.  Look for Xocoveza Extra Anejo to be packaged in 500ml bottles and the beer will clock in at 12.2%-AbV.  According to the packaging this beer will be bottled in July 2015 so stay tuned for release details.
