Today we get to see the packaging for Allagash Brewing Little Sal. This ale brewed with blueberries is aged in wine barrels. it will be packaged in 12.7oz bottles and come in at 6.1% ABV.
From Allagash:
May 19th, our first ever blueberry beer will be available in bottles at the brewery only.
Little Sal used one pound of Maine blueberries per gallon and then was aged in a single oak red wine barrel with Pediococcus and Lactobacillus for over a year and a half. This one will be gone fast!
Two bottle limit at $15 per bottle. Not expected to be on tap at the release.
