Two Roads - Igor’s Dream Russian Imperial Stout Coming 1/25 - Release Details

Today we get to see Two Roads Brewing The Road Less Traveled Series 2014 Release Igor’s Dream.  This Russian Imperil Stout is aged in Whiskey barrels.  Igor’s Dream honors helicopter inventor Igor Sikorsky and it is brewer with Rye malt and aged in Kentucky Rye Whiskey barrels.  This beer will be bottled in 750ml bottles and come in at 10.9% ABV.   Release details from two Roads:

Update from Two Roads:

Date- Saturday, January 25th  9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Time- We begin to sell bottles and draft beer at 9 a.m. Doors will open at 8 a.m. so you don’t have to stand in the cold! We will open the gates to the brewery parking lot at 6:30 a.m.

Where- Two Roads Brewing Company, 1700 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT.

Parking- Our lot will be open as well as our lot around the other side of our administration office. You can also park on some surrounding streets as well.

How Many Bottles of This Year’s 2014 Vintage? 1980 (limit three per person).

How Many Bottles of Last Year’s 2013 Vintage? 400 (limit one per person, first come, first serve).

How Much are Bottles? 2014 is $20 a bottle and 2013 is $25 a bottle.

ABV? The beer is 10.9%.

How Does This Work? When you reach the glass door of our tasting room, you will be given a choice of how many bottles you want to purchase and then given one ticket for each bottle requested. We’ll have four lines going- two for cash only and two for credit cards.

How Much are glasses? A taster of Igor is $5 (that’s about 5 oz), and an 8 oz pour is $8.

Growler sales? No Igor growlers but growler sales of all our other beers will begin at 1 p.m.

Food Trucks? Four food trucks will be there – Fryborg, Caseus Grilled Cheese, Cowabunga Burgers, and Firehouse Grill.

What about other beer sales? We’ll be selling six packs on the floor along with Igor. Due to CT law, you can only purchase up to a case of beer per person, per day so we have to sell all our beer in one place during Igor sales. Regular six pack sales will resume in our merchandise room at 1 p.m.

I want my bottles autographed: Our Brewmaster, Phil Markowski, as well as Igor Sikorsky’s sons will be signing bottles in our private event room “The Vault Room.  The Sikorsky brothers will be here from 11-1.

Merch for sale? We’ll have posters, fedoras, t-shirts and glassware for sale in the merch room starting at 9 a.m.

Are you donating some proceeds to charity? Yes!  We are donating 10% of bar sales to CT Fallen Heroes Foundation
