oSKAr the G’Rauch Smoked IPA Coming from Oskar Blues & Ska Brewing

imageWe brought you news of this beer the day Ska traveled to Oskar Blues to brew it.  Now courtesy of Oskar Blues we have more details on this new 10th Anniversary celebration beer to be named oSKAr the G’Rauch Smoked IPA.  From Oskar Blues:

What did oSKAr the G’Rauch say to the face? Slap! Aromas of freshly-peeled orange and apricots with a touch of … smoke? Juicy citrus and fruit flavors dominate but don’t overpower the slightly sweet malt structure. Finish is all citrus rind ping-ponging with some smoky phenols. Why did it take us so long to brew up a CANlaboration beer with our Four Corners family? Hopefully it won’t be another ten fuh-CAN years before the next time!

8.5% ABV, MANY IBU
Toked Malt
Eldorado Hops
