(Independence, OR) – Rogue Ales is releasing Rogue Farms 19 Original Colonies Mead, made with Rogue Hopyard Honey grown and harvested at the Rogue Farm Micro Hopyard in Independence, Oregon.
The Rogue honeybees spend their days sampling the flavors of the farm and absorbing the terroir of the Wigrich Appellation. From blackberries, raspberries and cherries; to woodruff, lavender and pumpkins; to rye and corn – the honey they produce is a taste of the terroir of the Wigrich Appellation. And so is Rogue Farm 19 Original Colonies Mead.
Rogue Farms 19 Original Colonies Mead is brewed using give ingredients: Rogue Farms Hopyard Honey, Wild Flower Honey, Jasmine Green Teas Leaves, Champagne Yeast and Free Range Coastal Water.
When you grow it you know it. It takes extra time and work to do it this way but it’s worth it. 19 Original Colonies Mead is available nationally in 22oz serigraphed bottles and on draft.
Rogue Ales is dedicated to saving the terroir of Oregon hops, barley, honey, pumpkins, rye and jalapenos and bees one acre at a time, by growing its own. The Rogue GYO 200-acre Micro Barley Farm is located in Oregon’s Tygh Valley Appellation and Rogue’s 42-acre Micro Hopyard is located in Oregon’s Wigrich Appellation.
