Anheuser-Busch shareholders are being asked by Alcohol Justice to pressure AB to drop their sponsorship of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). From Marketwatch:
Shareholders Should Demand an End to Anheuser-Busch InBev's Sponsorship of Bloody Human Cage-Fighting, Says Alcohol Justice.
The largest shareholders of publicly-traded, global beer behemoth Anheuser-Busch InBev are being asked to exert pressure on company management to end its sponsorship of the brutally violent human cage-fighting sport known as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). In a letter sent today to the major stockholders of A-B InBev, Alcohol Justice Executive Director and CEO Bruce Lee Livingston stated, "Bud Light ads are irresponsibly delivering harmful content to millions of youth, exposing them to people beating one another to a bloody pulp...A-B InBev shareholders should be outraged."
