Here’s an interesting new brew coming out of RedHook Brewery called No Equal Amber Lager. This new 22oz bottle will be 5.2% ABV and uses caramel malts & noble hops. This beer is brewed in collaboration with the Emerald City Supporters (ECS) and in support of the Seattle Sounders Football Club….and RedHook is the official craft beer of the Sounders FC.

Can't wait! Well done ECS and Red Hook!
ReplyDeleteBoooo! Bring back Brougham Bitter!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne question......where can I get a few cases?
The label was approved today and usually the real beer isn't far behind that. I suspect if you're in the immediate-distribution area for Redhook you should see it soon...most likely a release to coincide with the first Sounders game.
ReplyDeleteWhen does this come out?
ReplyDeleteI think our comments passed in Cyber-space....read back one comment from yours.
ReplyDeleteBrougham Bitter is still alive and well, no plans to stop making the Bitter.
ReplyDeleteGood show, chaps!
ReplyDeleteAgentkooper - Big Al's is still making Brougham Bitter. I don't think this is intended to replace that at all.
ReplyDeleteThink of it as a brother from another mother. I like that this one will be available in a 22oz portable, instead of only in the bars.
the real question is, will it be at an affordable, under 4$ a bottle price?
ReplyDeleteprobably not :(
wait till you people see the new ticket prices as well
The price remains to be seen I guess. Don't be a Negative nancy just yet. I can't speak for ticket prices, but I'm betting the 12oz bottle will be affordable..especially if it supports the Sounders!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that price will be reasonable, but Redhooks Blueline series offerings tend to priced at the upper end of things. :(
ReplyDeleteThe official release party is taking place in Seattle at the Atlantic Crossing pub on March 2nd. After which, the announced plans are to limit distribution to the Pacific Northwest.
Regarding season tickets, there was no change in prices for the 2012 season. Who knows what will happen in 2013.
