Liquid Hero - The Freight House Porter

27 November 2011

Here’s a new one from Liquid Hero Brewing in York, PA called The Freight House Porter.  We brought you some of their early labels back in Aug….and I’m sure there’s a great local PA story here for this keg-only brew name….so stay tuned.

This is great homage to the now-defunct rail traffic through York, PA. I remember once when I was younger (90's?), they brought a train through York, just to do it. My parents took my brother and me to the event, and we put half-dollars on the tracks to flatten them.

Thanks Justin. I'll bet you all still have the half-dollars too.

Hmmm, I've seen the building on that label before, but I can't remember where. Possibly near the old York County Prison?
