Susquehanna Brewing Co–Update

Last night WNEP-TV ran a story highlighting the Susquehanna Brewing Co coming soon to Pittston, PA, so I thought I’d pass on the latest news.  We broke the story of Susquehanna Brewing Co back in February, so it’s exciting to see some progress.  The BrauKon equipment has arrived (10/18), and just based on the photos it appears to be a 50bbl system.  Assembly will begin in the next few months and WNEP quoted Fred Maier saying they will be producing 100,000bbl per year and possibly releasing their first bottled beer for Christmas….so stay tuned.

Update:  Here’s the story form the Citizen’s Voice today….looks like a Susquehanna Pilsner (or a Stock Ale) will be up before the holiday ale.
