Sam Adams Longshot Winner - Five Crown Imperial Stout–Joe Formanek - Variety Pack Coming Feb 2012

Today we have the Sam Adams (Boston Beer) Longshot home brewing competition winner Five Crown Imperial Stout by Joe Formanek.  Here’s the new 12oz bottle label for Joe’s 8.9% ABV Imperial Stout.  Boston Beer also received kegimage approval for Five Crown as well as Derf’s Secret Ale (9.3% ABV-Fred Hessler).  I suspect we’ll see more of these approvals this week to include Munich Dunkel (Corey Martin.)  Watch for these coming in the near future in a Sam sampler case.

UPDATE 10/14:  Here are the labels for the other winners!

Update 1/11/2012…Variety six-pack will hit the shelves in Feb 2012 including two bottles of each brew with a suggested retail price of $9.99.
