HiJinx Brewing Co–Coming Soon

On my recent visit to Ireland, I was lucky enough to spend some time with one of the guys working toward the opening of HiJinx Brewing Co in the Lehigh Valley Area. We shared more than a few beers (and homebrews) in Ireland so I’m excited to report back on the progress of HiJinx Brewing Co.

HiJinx is a startup nano-brewery founded by Curt Keck (Formerly of Weyerbacher Brewing and the former Old Lehigh Brewing Co.) Curt also won a gold medal in the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing, so he’s no stranger to great craft beer. HiJinx will be brewing small (currently on a 1/2bbl setup and soon to be brewing on a 1.5bbl system.) The guys @ HiJinx shared their brews at the PBS39 Microbrew festival on June 4th…pouring Prankster’s Porter, ESB, Hop Harvest IPA, Steal your Face Stout…and a few other great brews with great names….and all were really well received.

In order to help fund the startup HiJinx Brewing Co, Curt has recently launched a fundraising campaign. Curt is using kickstarter.com (a web site dedicated to helping startup companies raise funds.)

For those of you who didn't know, I am in the process of opening my brewery, HiJinx Brewing Company. I just wanted to let you know that I have officially launched a fundraising campaign on kickstarter.com. Kickstarter is a website that aids people in raising money to help realize their dream. When an individual, such as yourself, decides to back a project they commit to donating funds, by way of credit card, to help the project reach it's goal. If the goal is met by the deadline the funds are then charged to the backers card and released to the project. In exchange for the generous donation, the backer will receive a reward. The larger the donation, the sweeter the reward. If the project fails to reach it's goal I receive nothing and you lose nothing.
