Cigar City–Imperial Milk Porter

06 May 2011

Here’s another great looking new 750ml bottle coming out of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, FL.  Imperial Milk Porter is a malt beverage with lactose aged in Stranahan Whiskey barrels and while they aren’t giving up the ABV on the bottle, the label does say: “So what you have here is a high gravity porter brewed with lactose and age din whiskey barrels” so I suspect it will be a strong beer.  Cigar City also received approval today for two different keg sizes so I expect we’ll see this interesting new brew on draft as well.
