Hey Bil, I'm going to be in Pittston on Thursday and Friday on business. Any chance we can get together and have a beer?
Hi Sam...mrs. beerbuzz & I will be at Elmer Sudds for happy hour this Fri (2/20) and of course you're welcome to stop in. We usually get there around 5:30. Hope to see you there.
I just got off the phone with a girlfriend of mine who works at Shawnee, and she said that this will on site where the old Ice Skating Rink used to be, NOT at the Carmen wooden floor skate rink used to be.
She said they expect to open in conjunction with the start of the golf season, but as the blog posts also say, it could potentially be pushed back.
I'm so excited to try some of the strong ales and the sort that he'll be aging in the whiskey bourbon barrels...that flavor has become one of my favorites (Namely the Weyerbacher brews that utilize the technique), so I can't wait to summer to try Shawnee Craft's!
