Saint Arnold Crosses Over 1 Million Barrels

Dear Saint Arnold Army,

Milestones are fun to celebrate. When we brewed and shipped 603 barrels of beer in 1994 - our first year in business - we thought that was a lot. The thought that we'd someday surpass one million barrels cumulatively was unfathomable.

But earlier this year, we started crunching the numbers and adding up how much beer we've brewed since the very beginning. We discovered we were about to produce that golden millionth barrel.

We've Brewed 1 Million Barrels of Beer!

We couldn't have accomplished this without your support (how much of that million barrels have you enjoyed?!), so we want to share the moment with you.

To mark the occasion, we wrapped one barrel’s worth of Art Car IPA cans from our millionth barrel packaging run with a special gold label. We randomly distributed these cans and shipped them across Texas. If you find one, keep it as a souvenir. Or, you know, drink it!

We also want to see your cans! When you find one of the special Art Cars out in the wild, snap a pic and email it to lennie@saintarnold.com or tag it on the socials using #onemillionbarrels and we’ll share them and show the world just how golden you are!

We’re also running a special contest to celebrate. Enter now for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind commemorative art piece by GONZO247, the artist behind the Art Car IPA packaging.

No purchase is necessary to enter, but you must be 21 or older.

How much beer is in a barrel anyway? Well, one barrel is the equivalent of two kegs. Never been to a keg party? Try this: One million barrels worth of beer in our standard 12 oz cans laid end to end would stretch all the way around the earth - and then some! Yes, we did the math.

Enjoy Saint Arnold

at Texas Renaissance Festival

Hear ye! Hear ye! Saint Arnold beer is flowing at the Texas Renaissance Festival! That's right, if you find yourself parched at this year's festivities, quench your thirst just like the followers of Saint Arnold did - with a special brew!

Made for this year's event, Saint Arnold King's Fest is a malty and hoppy English ale commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Texas Renaissance Festival. Look for it on tap around the grounds.

We hope to see you there. Until then, fare thee well!
