Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights AleSmith Funwave Hazy IPA

For as many years as I’ve been enjoying AleSmith beers, I was surprised when I realized that this is the first time I’ve actually written a review for one of their beers. I’ve enjoyed their Speedway Stout variants for many years, so I was excited to get a chance to sample a returning classic hazy IPA.

Today we’ll be sampling AleSmith Funwave Hazy IPA and if you’re not familiar, this beer was first released in 2022 as a seasonal and it will now return from June to December 2023. Funwave is brewed with Vic Secret and Citra hops and it will return in 16oz canned six packs. This beer was really popular in 2022 so naturally I can’t wait to try it….so off we go.
