Next week, we're introducing two new barrel-aged beers in celebration of our 16th anniversary! Want them both?! We don't blame you. These two barrel-aged bottles will be available to purchase as a set! Any purchase of the two-bottle package will have the option to add on a set of custom paired macarons from @pinchofsaltdesserts, inspired by and made with our beer! Quantities of both these bottles are limited, so reserve yours online starting Tuesday, 10/4 at 11AM. Both beers will be released on draft and will be ready for pickup in our taprooms starting Friday, October 7th

In celebration of our 16th Anniversary, we're starting a new tradition to honor the friendships we’ve created along the way. For our inaugural Goatshire, we've joined forces with Portland’s Living House Beer Company. No stranger to hops, we thought it best to create ultra-hoppy San Diego-style IPA using some of the newest experimental hops available. ⁠

Starting with a simple base, we hopped the beer with Mosaic Incognito Oil and Peacherine, an experimental variety grown by New Zealand’s Freestyle Farms. We sent the beer to the fermenter with El Dorado Incognito for bursting tropical notes. After fermentation, we hit the beer with a triple dry-hop of Peacherine, HBC 586, and Australian Eclipse. Peacherine provides strong notes of stone fruit, while HBC 586 lends notes of lychee, mango, and guava. Eclipse rounds out the dry-hop with notes of citrus and fresh pine. We're excited to present this IPA collaboration, truly worthy of 16 years.⁠

Anniversary Release #2⁠: Sixteen⁠ Whiskey Barrel-aged Wheated Imperial Stout with Vanilla Beans

In the sixteen years of our existence, we have expanded our minds and palates in ways that have forever altered how we create and share beer. We honor and celebrate those years with the release of Sixteen - our anniversary ale. To complement the wheat-forward imperial stout base, we selected Bernheim Wheated Whiskey barrels from @heavenhilldistillery for aging. Laid to rest for seventeen months, we finished this creation on seven single-origin vanilla bean varietals. Grown all around the world, each varietal adds a unique flavor characteristic. Rich, luscious, and vibrant, Sixteen is our love letter to each beer that has come before and all those that will come after. Cheers to Sixteen Years!
