10 Barrel Recapping March Releases

Be sure to check out my review here, and now this from 10 Barrel:

Rock Hop -

Rock Hop is a cold fermented beer with the bold hoppiness traditionally seen in a West Coast IPA. Azacca, Cashmere, El Dorado, and Idaho 7 hops give notes of fresh pine and orange zest with low bitterness on a soft malt backbone. Lace up your boots, stash a few cans, and get hiking - beer tastes best at elevation. 7.1% ABV 45 IBU Rock Hop Assets.

Club Tread -

Welcome to the club! 10 Barrel Brewing set out on a brewing adventure to make a 5% IPA full of hop flavor and bursting with fruit aroma. Award winning brewer, Ian Larkin took El Dorado and Strata hops and paired them with mandarin orange creating an ultra-bright, thirst-quenching beer. Club Tread is truly a summertime IPA. When the flavor is bumping, your feet will be thumping so grab some friends, bag that peak, hit that trail, and join Club Tread.  5% ABV 45 IBU Club Tread Assets.

Cloud Mentality -

Does the world need another Hazy IPA? Well… depending on who you ask, YES! If you ask me, also yes. Cloud Mentality is brewer Ian Larkin’s exploration of hop varietals on flavor and aroma during the biotransformation process in fermentation. This hazy delivers tropical flavors of mango, pineapple and some citrus, along with dank herbal notes of drifting cannabis. Whoo boy. The name is a play on ‘crowd mentality’ because of how crowded the category is today, but this one really stands out. 7% ABV 55 IBU Cloud Mentality Assets.

Mai Tai -

Straight out of the fifties… the 1950s (and ‘60s), so break out your Hawaiian shirt, little drink umbrellas and ‘cocktail hour’ vibes, because 10 Barrel’s new Mai Tai set a tone that would be appreciated by one of the drink’s most famous promoters—Elvis Presley. 10 Barrel’s Mai Tai is the perfect complement to 1961’s Blue Hawaii with Presley and Angela Lansbury… which in turn will spark the perfect catalyst for your next cocktail party. 10 Barrel makes their Mai Tai with imported Caribbean Rum from Oregon Spirits Distillers and fresh fruit juice and simple syrup for a sweet, but not too sweet, drink that’ll throw you to the back of your beach chair if you’re not careful. 12.5% ABV Mai Tai Fact Assets.
