Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Portland Cider Peach Berry CiderAfter several years of being lucky enough to have cider samples sent my way, I’ve become a real fan of the various cider blends on the market, but today’s may by one of my all-time favorites.
Coming to us from Portland Cider in Clackamas, OR, today we’ll be trying out their new Peach Berry Cider.  Now I’ll admit that I love peaches and I love most every berry I’ve encountered, so I knew up front that this one was right up my alley when it comes to cider flavors.  This cider is their new seasonal release to help transition from summer into fall.
Peach Berry Cider gets it’s colors from the berries and it pours a welcoming deep red-ish purple color.  The aromas have more peach and apricot than the colors would have you think, and the overall aroma is bright and fresh.  I should mention just how cool it is to have this cider packaged in 19.2oz, and at 5.2%-AbV it may be the perfect package.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Portland Cider Peach Berry Cider
Peach Berry Cider has a really drinkable mix of tart berries and sweet peach flavors.  You can pick out the subtle raspberry and blueberry flavors, but the peaches really steal the show (this is a good thing).  The tart finish cleans up the overall blend and the juicy mouthfeel really makes for a drinkable and enjoyable experience.
Overall I’d have to say that Portland Cider Peach Berry Cider has to be one of my favorite berry ciders and perhaps one of my favorite overall cider blends.  The tart berries nicely balance out the sweet stone fruit and the blend is really enjoyable.
Peach Berry Cider is available now in 19.2oz cans as well as 12oz canned six packs as well as draft so get out there and try it for yourself.  And when you do taste it, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
