Noble Rey Brewing Counters Weyerbacher’s Dallas Sucks With Eagle Tears

Back in July we brought you a peek at a new beer coming from Weyerbacher Brewing in Easton, PA.  The beer was called Dallas Sucks and it was aimed squarely at the Dallas Cowboys footballs team.  Now Dallas, TX’s Noble Rey Brewing is countering that release with their own Eagle Tears Gose…aimed at the Philadelphia Eagles.  This from Noble Rey:image

When we heard some guys from PA made a beer called "Dallas Sucks", we did what we do best...make a better beer w/ a better name, & a WAY BETTER DESIGN!!!
This one will be out in the coming weeks, limited taps to start and cans exclusively in our taprooms.

On Saturday Nov. 5th we'll be officially releasing our Eagle Tears Gose so that everyone has plenty of time to load up on 6-packs before the Dallas Cowboys play the Philidelphia Eagles on Sunday Nov. 19th.
Our taproom doors will open at 12pm and we hope in addition to buying some Eagle Tears you'll stick around to enjoy some beer, fresh food by
The Proper Baking Co and watch the Dallas Cowboys play the The Kansas City Chiefs at 3:25pm

[Editor’s Note]:  As a Pennsylvanian and non-football fan, I’m compelled to point out that a)  Philadelphia isn’t spelled “Philidelphia “  and b) the name “Eagle Tears” was already used by Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton, CA (see below). Winking smileimage
