From Upslope:
Our Lee Hill Series of special release brews showcases the best of our big barrel aged beers. Now, we’re back for volume 13! Next week, we’ll be releasing our new Tequila Barrel Aged Belgian Quad! This beer will be available on tap and in cans on Thursday, July 27th, with the release party going from 5-9pm at our Lee Hill tap room. Be one of the first to try our newest barrel aged beer and grab some cans to add to your cellar!
ABOUT THE TEQUILA BARREL AGED QUADRUPEL
Our newest Belgian Quad is based on the recipe of a former Lee Hill series beer, but this time we tweaked the recipe a bit and prepared it to go into our Dulce Vida Anejo Tequila barrels for six months. Over those months, the complex flavors of this big, Belgian ale mingled with the spirit of these barrels to produce notes of caramelized bananas, mulled clove, and floral tequila accents. These flavors are rounded off by a rich, spicy oak character and a warming finish that characterizes the classic Belgian Quad style.
This beer weighs in at a smooth 11.2% ABV and 42 IBUs.
ABOUT THE LEE HILL SERIES
Our Lee Hill Series of beers, named after our original location that still houses our entire barrel aging program, is a showcase of our commitment to experimentation and innovation in complex and bold beers. These beers are crafted in small batches, aged for varying lengths, and available for a limited time so that we can keep the ball rolling on the next batch of barrel aged beer for our most loyal fans.
Served up quarterly, these beers are served on draft and sold in 19.2 ounce cans that are sure to be great additions to your cellar!
