Prairie Artisan Ales Coming To Oklahoma City

imageFrom Prairie:

Prairie is coming to OKC! By spring of 2017 we plan to be brewing, selling, and creating in the heart of Oklahoma City at 3 NE 8th St. The space will feature a brewery, tap room, and creative arts space. Everything you need to have the full Prairie experience, and everything we need to supply it.

Oklahoma City is a special place for most of the Prairie team and we are excited to build this brewery as our primary destination focused on creating beers for taproom sales and bottle releases. Expect new and innovative beers alongside some of our favorites such as Bomb! and Standard. It will be another opportunity for us to push ourselves as brewers and creators.

Something that is absolutely critical to Prairie is visual art. The labels are alive, filled with quirky characters and beautiful illustrations. We want to share that process and we will be doing so with three artists workspaces that will be housed in the OKC brewery. These workspaces will not just be for Prairie, but also other artists as we plan to create a residency program that will offer a free space for community artists. We value collaboration in all things, and this is our chance to focus that collaborative spirit outward, into our communities.

In terms of the actual space, we will be occupying a portion of a larger, mixed tenant building. Renovations on the existing building will begin this fall. Developers Brandon Lodge, Cale Coulter, and Patrick Murnan along with architects AHMM have some amazing plans for the space.   As we mentioned, the building will be mixed with all kind of tenants, which means we are looking for neighbors! If you are interested in shacking up with us, so to speak, we recommend you contact Brandon at (405) 473-2841 or Patrick at (405) 633-1268.

Prairie has always been a multi-location operation, and the development in Oklahoma City will be the perfect addition to our production brewery in Krebs and the brewpub in Tulsa. The team is excited to get to work so we can begin sharing our ideas and even more delicious beer with you!
