We filled our first two barrels with this Flanders Style Red Ale before we even opened. Over the past two years, its maturing has mirrored Council’s growth and has developed into a beer we are proud of releasing. Unique Brett characteristics of tart cherry pie and leather have developed as a result of the long aging process from locally sourced red wine barrels. The complex malt bill provides caramel and dried currant notes to contrast with the bright acidity from Lacto and Pedio. Please enjoy in a tulip glass and reflect on the past two years with us.
This is a limited release with around 200 bottles, limit 1 per person. The bottles will be sold through brown paper tickets at (councilfr.brownpapertickets.com) for $28 per 750 ml bottle plus tax and fees.
To guarantee yourself a bottle of this rare and limited release, buy a VIP ticket to our 2nd Anniversary Party (councilyear2.bpt.me) before June 1st. If you do so, you will receive the pre-sale option to purchase these bottles online, before they are released to the public. Pre-sale is from 6/1-6/5, public sale is 6/6-6/10. Pre-purchased bottles will be available for pick up starting on 6/11/2016.
