2013: Year of Shmaltz - News & Funky Jewbelation Launch

image
Some really exciting news form our pal Jeremy Cowan @ Shmaltz Brewing Co:

After ending 2012 on the highest note in our company's history, it seems impossible that things could get better ––but, they already are. Only three months in to the year and 2013 is poised to give 2012 a serious run for the money. New beers, new recipes, new artwork, new distributors in New York (Manhattan Beer Distributors), Northern New Jersey (Kohler Distributing Company) and Minnesota (JJ Taylor) –– and at the core of all this excitement is our same, unwavering commitment to bringing you delicious beer and delicious shtick.

February was a rocking month thanks to San Francisco Beer Week, New York Beer Week, and Purim. We're still in the midst of NY Beer Week, so if you live on the East Coast (or are planning a trip – hint, hint) check the
Shmaltz Calendar for all of our Shmaltz-tastic events! And don't forget to make it FUNKY...with our second release of the Gold Medal winning Funky Jewbelation, hitting shelves right this minute.

Dust off those old platforms, tease out your hair, and join us at one of the Funky Jewbelation Launch events in your area! See you there with a beer in hand!

What results from blending six Shmaltz

ales and lagers aged in bourbon and rye whiskey barrels? One, 9.4 % alc. mashup of award-winning wonder that's the grooviest brew on the craft beer block. A combination of Jewbelation 15 (aged seven and ten months), Origin Pomegranate Strong Ale (aged eleven months), Bittersweet Lenny's R.I.P.A. (aged twelve months), Messiah Nut Brown Ale (aged six months), Coney Island Lager (aged twelve months), and Albino Python (aged three months), this beer will have you doing the hustle regardless of your dancing capabilities! The 2012 version of Funky Jewbelation is still basking in the glow of its Gold Medal from the World Beer Championships.
