The WILK Friday BeerBuzz Wins the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters 2011 Award for Outstanding Radio Feature Series

PABLogoI’m very excited to report that the WILK Friday BeerBuzz has won the 2011 Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters award for Outstanding Radio Feature Series.

This is an exciting award for everyone on the Friday BeerBuzz crew and I congratulate Nancy, John, Joe, Bosco, Karel and everyone on the team…and on a personal level I’m excited to receive an award for sampling beer and talking about it (mom would be so proud).

On a related note, a big congratulations to our very own Bud Brown @ WILK for winning the PAB award for Best Local Radio Newscast.  Well deserved Bud!

    Congratulations to you Bill! You've consistently gone above and beyond in researching information for each week's show, procuring excellent guests, and overall producing The Friday BeerBuzz! (Not to mention lugging the cooler!)

    Nice to get some recognition for doing something you know and love! Knowledge, enthusiasm, and class pay off!

    And from this day forward let the aforementioned WILK feature series be known as "...the award-winning Friday BeerBuzz!"
