For whatever reason I’m really surprised to hear that Troegs has sent a cease & desist letter to Fegley’s Brew Works demanding that they stop using the Elf Image & Rude Elf’s Reserve been name saying that it is too close to their Mad Elf packaging and name. Fegley’s, who was already forced to change the original name of this beer “Rudolph’s Reserve” in 2003 (by Connecticut-based Rudolph Co) has vowed to fight this action by Troegs.
More details from Lehigh Valley Live….and yes I can see it all ready…coming in 2011 the Troegs/Brew Works co-Brew “Cooperative Elf.”

/ Troegs Cease & Desist! Mad Elf vs Fegley’s Brew Work’s Rude Elf’s Reserve
Seems like Troegs is the rude elf and Fegley's Brewworks should be the mad elf in this story.
