We’ve already brought you your first peek at four returning Backstage Series beers from Founders Brewing that will now make the move to their Barrel-Aged Series (Bolt Cutter, Project Pam & Sweet Repute here and Lizard of Koz here)….but today I suspect this one will be the most exciting beer to return. This is Canadian Breakfast Stout, or as it’s better known, CBS and it will now be released as part of the Barrel-Aged Series in 750ml bottles. This beer remains an imperial stout brewed with chocolate and coffee that is aged in Maple Syrup Bourbon barrels and I suspect it will remain at 10.6%-AbV. This packaging is marked as a 2017 release so stay tuned here for release dates (an e-mail sent to Founders has not yet been returned)..
