Some bad news coming from our pals Alan Miller and Albert Debock at Millbock Brewing in Harrisburg, PA:
It is with great regret we inform you that we will be closing at the end of the year. This decision has not been easy, however we feel it is the right choice for ourselves and families. We both are and will be (for the foreseeable future) working full time jobs which are requiring more and more of our time and the brewery is going to require more and more of our time to operate. We made the decision knowing that the time commitment needed would be at a great expense to our families. The current model we have built is not a sustainable endeavor and we need to grow in order for us to commit to the business full time. This would require a huge financial risk to our families which we are not willing to take at this point in the game. The business has been in the black since day one and In fact we have not been able to keep up with the demand and have been turning customers away. We love the beer business and hope to be able to be involved in some form down the road. We thank you for your support and help!
