Both Coopers Brewery & Chimay are celebrating their 150th Anniversaries this year (and both begin with the letter “C”). Details from smh.au:
With remarkable synchronicity, two breweries on opposite sides of the globe are celebrating their 150th anniversaries. Coopers Brewery in Adelaide and Chimay - operated by Trappist monks in Belgium - both started brewing in 1862.
Coincidence-seekers might note that both enterprises were started by men of religion - founder Thomas Cooper was a Methodist lay preacher - and they have each maintained their independence over a century-and-a-half. From modest beginnings, both breweries have grown into large-scale, modern operations that export their beers widely.
