Russian River – Row 2 Hill 56

Here’s your first look at the latest new beer to be bottled by Russian River.  I brought you the keg version of this beer back in early March, and I’m really excited to see it hitting bottles.  This is part of the Hop Growers Series (a sort of single-hop series of beers) and this one is “The Story of Simcoe.”  The beer is named for the location where this hops is grown  in the Yakima Valley.  Simcoe is grown by three family-farms in the valley, the Carpenters, the Perraults & the Smiths (Loftus Ranches) and this beer uses 100% Simcoe.  Row 2 Hill 56 is a Pale Ale, it come sin at 5.8% ABV and it will be packaged in the traditional Russian River 510ml bottles….and of course it carries the RR “Drink NOW Do Not Save For A Rainy Day banners”
