Lakewood Brewing’s Temptress Goes Blonde

Lakewood Brewing’s Temptress Goes Blonde

I brought you an early peek, and now this from Lakewood:

Texas’ Top Craft Stout Inspires Golden-Hued Imperial Stout – Temptress Blonde

DALLAS, TX  (April 2025) – Lakewood Brewing Company has launched its newest Seduction Series release: Temptress Blonde, an Imperial Golden Stout inspired by the family-owned brewery’s legendary Temptress, the top-selling craft stout in Texas. Designed with warm-weather drinking in mind, Temptress Blonde will debut at the Taproom on April 2 and will be available across Texas.

Texas blondes have a reputation the world over, and this one is no exception.

“Temptress Blonde is a beer for the senses,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Co. “A Golden Stout is designed to make you do a double take. Its bright golden hue deceptively disguises traditional stout flavors—vanilla, coffee (supplied by LDU Coffee), and malt sweetness. But don’t be fooled by its lighter color—Temptress Blonde boasts an impressive 9.1% ABV.”

Beyond its Temptress lineup, Lakewood’s portfolio includes year-round IPAs, lagers, and popular seasonal releases, all drawing beer lovers to its Taproom at 2302 Executive Drive in Garland.
