About Bud Light:
Bud Light is an American-style light lager produced by Anheuser-Busch, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 1982, Anheuser-Busch, one of the US’ largest brewers, launched its much anticipated Bud Light. It would become one of the best-selling beer brands in the country, and one of the biggest sellers worldwide – in fact, it’s the 3rd most valuable beer brand in the world.
Young drinkers aged 18-24 in the UK were shifting away from beer, with a growing trend towards moderating alcohol consumption and calorie intake. Enter Bud Light. Launched in the UK in February 2017, Bud Light made an immediate impact, energizing the UK beer market. With its lighthearted personality, lower ABV (Alcohol by Volume), and fewer calories, it quickly became the perfect beer for the market. Despite its short time on the shelves, Bud Light is already the second biggest contributor to category growth.
Initially introduced in a 440ml can, Bud Light has since expanded its range to include various can sizes, with the standout innovation being the 300ml bottle. This bottle opened up the brand to 43% of the beer-drinking market that exclusively consumes beer in bottles.
Bud Light - American-style light lager
Bud Light undergoes a brewing process that includes the use of a special blend of hops sourced from various varieties in the USA and Germany, as well as malt selected from grains from the USA and Canada. The beer is aged with beechwood chips, a method known as "beechwood aging," contributing to its smooth and refreshing flavor.
Bud Light is known for its light, crisp, and refreshing taste.
