Local Brewery and Non-Profit Raise Money for San Diego Community
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 2024) –AleSmith Brewing Company, in partnership with their nonprofit Anvil of Hope, is excited to announce the launch of their Annual Holiday Fundraiser, starting on Giving Tuesday and running for 10 days. This year’s fundraiser will feature a charity auction filled with exclusive prizes, one-of-a-kind experiences, and unique items, all aimed at raising funds to support local families and children in need. In addition to the auction, AleSmith and Anvil of Hope are hosting several community-driven initiatives, including a canned food drive and a Giving Tree collection. Don’t miss the Ugly Sweater Party on Thursday, December 5th, at AleSmith’s Tasting Room, where the community will come together to celebrate the launch of the fundraiser and raise critical funds to support Anvil of Hope’s mission.
How to Participate:
- Auction: The online auction starts Giving Tuesday and runs for 10 days. Place your bids on exclusive items and experiences at this link.
- Canned Food Drive: AleSmith and Anvil of Hope are collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items to support those facing hunger this holiday season. Drop-off bins are located at the AleSmith Tasting Room, and your donations will help provide meals to those in need across San Diego County.
- Giving Tree: Choose from over 300 ornaments from the Giving Tree at the AleSmith Tasting Room, each representing a child in grades K-12 who could use a little extra holiday magic. AleSmith and Anvil of Hope are collecting unwrapped gifts for these children through Friday, December 13th. Your contributions help bring joy and hope to local families this holiday season.
- Ugly Sweater Party: Join us on Thursday, December 5th 5:30-8:30, at the AleSmith Tasting Room for the Ugly Sweater Party. Prizes, games, and holiday cheer await! RSVP here.
