Lakefront Brewery Announces Black Friday Details

From Lakefront:

ALRIGHT, it's time for all the nitty gritty on our eagerly anticipated Black Friday™ 2024 beer release event at the Beer Hall!

As in years past, our doors will open at 8am, the day after Thanksgiving, to all fans who desire to get their hands on a variety of 2024 Black Friday brews. With no limit, and most cans around a count of 1000, we don’t recommend waiting around this year. The goods will be available in 19.2oz cans and housed in colorful dynamic boxes.

2024 Black Friday™ Imperial Stout | Aged in Bourbon and Brandy Barrels, the 2024 version of our gold standard brew combines massive caramel and roasted malts with huge vanilla and oak flavor. Approximately 2,000 cans are being sold for $20 each plus tax.

2024 Black Friday™ Triple Black IPA | Big, bold, and hoppy, this Triple Black IPA hits the glass obsidian black with a foamy tan head kicking up aromas of chocolate, orange zest, and rose water. Gratuitous Cascade, Chinook, and Centennial hops yield up-front citrus and tropical fruit notes, while Belgian caramel malts lend balance and sweet cocoa and caramel flavors. Approximately 1,000 cans are being sold for $20 each plus tax.

2024 Black Friday™ Imperial Brown Ale Aged in Wollersheim Winery Port Barrels | A big, hearty Imperial Brown Ale aged in Port wine barrels from Wisconsin’s own Wollersheim Winery. Brought together, flavors of brown bread crusts and caramel malt roll into port notes of oak plank, vanilla, dried fruit, and marzipan. Approximately 1,000 cans are being sold for $30 each plus tax.

2024 Black Friday™ 5-Year-Old | This big stout has been asleep in Bourbon barrels since 2019. The big, roasty, chocolatey Imperial Stout left all traces of alcohol heat behind in the barrel and picked up flavors of vanilla, pecan praline, marzipan, and a touch of pipe tobacco. Approximately 1,000 cans are being sold for $30 each plus tax.

️There will be no limit to the number of cans individuals may purchase and they may be purchased in any combination. A minimum of four Black Friday cans purchased gets you a new, collectible, souvenir-dated Black Friday glass — while supplies last!

For the second year in a row, we will host the Warm Hearts Community Coat Drive benefiting students of George Washington Carver Elementary. Guests who donate a laundered, gently used coat suitable for youth ages 3 to 14 years will receive one bottle/can of a prior year’s Black Friday, and may donate additional coats with a maximum of 2 bottles/cans per donor over 21. Coats will be accepted conditionally at Lakefront Brewery’s discretion, to ensure students will receive a coat that is in immediately wearable condition. Additional donations of any cold weather clothing or accessories are welcome. Lakefront Brewery encourages donors to bring colorful, youth-appropriate items, especially coats for girls and young teen women, giving students the dignity of choice.

Our CurdWagon Food Truck will open for sales at 5am serving up cheese curds and breakfast-inspired items. Starting at 8am, we will open our main bar for service. Black Friday will be available on tap.

Our first brewery tour will kick off at 1pm and our Friday Fish Fry will run as it normally would starting at 4pm.

Most importantly, responsible drinking will be enforced, and Lakefront will not serve individuals who are visibly intoxicated. Let’s not turn a fun time into a bad time.

BONUS! The Riverwest Brewing Syndicate is running a special Black Friday shuttle bus to all four breweries starting at Lakefront at 10AM running a continuous 30-minute loop until 3PM. Make a stop at Black Husky Brewing, Gathering Place Brewing Company, and Amorphic Beer!
