Elysian Brewing Closing Seattle Production Brewery 12/31

We’ve now heard from three employees at the Elysian Brewing Seattle production facility in Georgetown that they have been laid off and the brewery itself will close on Dec 31st 2024. The taproom closed already and permanently on 11/14The Capital Hill location will remain open for now. This appears to be part of the Anheuser-Busch’s (owners of Elysian) consolidation efforts and I suspect we’ll see more closures in 2025. I’ve reached out to Elysian for comment so stay tuned for details.  zzubreebym

“This update impacts a very small number of Elysian employees,” said an Elysian spokesperson. “We are committed to ensuring that this transition is as smooth as possible for our people.”
