Celebrate the King of Weird Portland with the Release of Portland Elvis Gold Lager

Gigantic Brewing Company is thrilled to announce the release of Portland Elvis Gold Lager, an easy-drinking lager brewed in honor of John "Elvis" Schroder, the iconic King of Weird Portland. Join us for the official release party on Friday, June 28th at Gigantic Hawthorne (4343 SE Hawthorne Blvd) starting at 5 pm.

This exciting event will feature the first public tasting of the new Portland Elvis Gold Lager, including a special "golden keg" made with gold glitter. To celebrate the occasion, Portland Elvis himself will perform live in the outdoor beer garden throughout the evening. In true Elvis spirit, we'll be serving up Peanut Butter, Banana, and Bacon Sandwiches – a favorite treat of the King!

Portland Elvis Gold Lager will be available in 16oz cans and on draft at all three Gigantic Brewing locations. It will also be sold at bars and beer shops throughout the Portland area.
In a gesture of community support and in alignment with our mission statement, Weird Portland United will be donating our portion of the proceeds from this beer directly to assist John "Elvis" Schroder in securing a new living arrangement.

Gigantic is one of the five finalists in the "Best Brewery" category of the Willamette Week's "Best of Portland" poll. If you love our beer and pubs then please consider giving us a vote.
