Lee Lord of Narragansett Beer to Celebrate International Women's Day W/New Belgium & Wayfinder

From Narragansett:

Hope you’re having a nice week! I’m thrilled to share that iconic New England brewery, Narragansett Beer, will be celebrating International Women’s Day by collaborating with amazing female brewers from New Belgium Brewing Company and Wayfinder Beer.

On Friday, March 8th Narragansett Beer’s Head Brewer Lee Lord, Natalie Rose Baldwin of Wayfinder Beer, and Kelly McKnight of New Belgium Brewing will be teaming up for a collaborative brew day at Wayfinder Beer in Portland, OR. The three will be making a unique Osmanthus lager that contains the flower Osmanthus typically used in herbal tea to impart a subtle, sweet peach-like flavor.

Wayfinder Beer is a lager-centric brewery that combines old and new school lager techniques to push the envelope of what lager can be. Narragansett has seen great success with their fan-favorite lager and is dedicated to creating premium craft styles made with their heritage and tradition in mind making this the ultimate lager collaboration.

While in Portland, Lee will be stopping by ‘Gansett hotspots to say “Hi- Neighbor” and buy beers for local patrons on Saturday, March 9th. Additionally, Lee will be joining Baldwin and McKnight on the Elite Women in Beer panel with Portland’s Pink Books Chapter on Thursday, March 7th and attending SheBrew PDX on Sunday, March 10th.
