Ground Breaker Brewing Releasing Polar Night Seasonal

From Ground Breaker:

Ground Breaker Brewing, the Great American Beer Festival® and World Beer Cup® winning gluten-free brewery, has dropped their latest seasonal release. Polar Night is a Baltic-inspired Porter that rounds out at 5.8% alcohol by volume.

“We were influenced by the Porters of Continental Europe,” remarked Head of Operations Jesse Bufton. “In the US you almost exclusively see 8 or 9 percent beers of this style but we wanted to make something more like the middle of the road Porters you see from many Baltic breweries.”

Ground Breaker employed a mix of dark and biscuit malts from Grouse Malthouse and Eckert Malting & Brewing and fermented the beer with their favorite lager yeast.

“Ground Breaker has welcomed the industry-wide lager resurgence with open arms,” said Founder James Neumeister. “We have released a few taproom exclusive Porters brewed with lager yeast over the years, it’s exciting to provide one as a seasonal.”

Polar Night is available now in the Ground Breaker pub and has already begun shipping to distribution partners.
